Social Worker and Therapist

Natalie Villeneuve, MSW, RSW

Natalie Villeneuve is a therapist and registered social worker with over ten years of experience supporting vulnerable populations. She is passionate about helping others thrive by getting to the root causes of their problems, and she is particularly interested in how Indigenous ways of knowing can help us to achieve balance and wellbeing in our lives. She seeks to bring a Two-Eyed Seeing Approach to her work, blending the strengths of both Indigenous and Western perspectives. After graduating with her Masters of Social Work at McGill University, Natalie has worked primarily with youth and families to help heal from sexual abuse and trauma, including working with youth who have perpetrated sexual abuse. Natalie understands that humans are complex beings and so she meets people where they are at in their change process, and helps motivate them to make meaningful changes in their lives. She believes in challenging people to expand their minds and become the best version of themselves, while also giving them the freedom to make choices that are best for their own individual journey. Natalie recognizes the importance of nature-based healing and strives to help others reconnect with the land, situate themselves in the present, and return to wellness.

Leading From The Heart Retreat

Our Story

We have come together with a shared vision of helping others to heal. We recognize that the systemic barriers in our society can impede our growth, and we wish to help others live an enhanced life despite the daily challenges we all face.

We look forward to meeting and working with you!

Our Goal

We want to create a healing space for clients who are the most marginalized and who would not normally have the opportunity to attend a retreat. We want this service to exist for them free of charge, because we believe that healing should be accessible to everyone. You are an important part of helping us get here! By offering a retreat for helping professionals, we are building expertise and revenue to be able to offer such accessible services in the future. We will be seeking donations and grants to also help this vision come to fruition! Thank you for your support.

The Significance of the Acorn

Given the right conditions, a tiny acorn has the potential to grow into a great oak tree.

Inside each of us is the potential to become someone greater than we are today. When we have the right conditions, environment, and nurturance, we can all grow into something amazing!

Unlock your full potential with us.
